Casing spools feature a versatile straight bore design that can accept a wide variety of slip and mandrel type casing hangers.The casing head spool is used to connect layers of casing and to seal the gap between the layers of casing, to support the BOP stack when drilling, and to hold the tubing head and Christmas tree after completion.
